So far......

spent some time "spring cleaning" today.

Inhaling those bleach/cleaning fluid fumes probably isnt a good idea though, so I'll wear a mask next time.
My sinuses felt later. And they're still blocked now. Could also be the weather maybe.

But it felt so good, after I was done and I saw the results of my vigorous scrubbing for the past hour or two ( or more). Mold is an enemy!!! But seriously, my allergies are acting up and it was about time I got proactive about checking corners for mold and stuff. Am glad I did, and hope I can do more later! Procrastination is the thief of time!

Of course it would have been easier if I'd remembered to use the mildew remover instead of pure bleach, but what the hey. Its all good. The mildew remover had a nice lemon scent though (I found it afterwards and still used some anyway). Much easier on the senses.

but i still have a cold........


anyway....spoke with a friend today and she's being so brave but I still think there's so much heartbreak deep down. I can only pray for her.......Life can be full of disappointments sometimes. But a hard place doesnt have to be a stumbling block, imo. it can also be a stepping stone. <<sigh>>

I'm worried about my aunt. She's very close and like a mom to me. She's my mom's sister and I'm scared I'm noticing some signs of forgetfulness and some other symptoms which she shouldnt be having at her age. She's not even 70 yet.

what's going on? I'm really puzzled here and it bothers me. I dont want to be rude but sometimes I get upset when she cant remember things. And i think it worries her too, when i point it out. Maybe i should stop doing that, since I dont want her to feel I'm being judgmental or something.

But i really am worried and i dont know what to do. She doesnt see what I'm seeing, and doesnt seem to think anything's wrong. God, this is so discouraging. If i take her to a doctor when she doesnt think anything's the matter, how do I explain what I've observed?

God, please help me.

This is a very strange year, for sure.

A major one of mine is not travelling home to see my grandma before she passed away.

well........sort of, though nothing like what I'd have wished for........but yes, a lot of people I know got married this year. One after the other just like that. Nice.

And yay! I finally got my emotions in check! This is harder than it sounds, for real. I know how I suffered last year just kidding of course. But thank God this year I got more savvy about how to avoid hurt feelings and the like, on the web. Real life is practically much the same as ever- but for the internet, no more emotional roller coasters, I HOPE!!!! whew!

Another year, another miracle.

wow, I fixed my cd drive. What a relief-I'd thought watching dvds on that computer was ancient history for sure.

Its been quite a while.

well, heard all kinds of news but whats most important is to cover your bases in anything you do.

People deserve to be happy, but sometimes happiness is so elusive AND subjective. If your happiness is making someone nasty and unhappy, then how do you deal with that?

and what about if you yourself are so angry with the world that you lash out instinctively at certain people whenever fate or duty brings you together?

These things give me a headache and I just want to get as far away as possible from everyone when they happen. I just feel like withdrawing into my cocoon and not emerging again until all's clear- no matter how long it takes. Gosh, why cant we be cooperative like other people? This worries me all the time. Anyway, God knows best I'm sure.

I wonder what my dad would think about all the changes going on in Lagos right now. I'd like to hear his opinion.
