Toads for Supper

Post  Admin on Tue Apr 14, 2009 3:34 am

by Chukwuemeka Ike.

Humorous but with an underlying sadness which gets more pronounced in each chapter, and by the end of the book, builds up to an inevitable crescendo.

Interesting portrayal of the main characters in the book, and culture clashes with change, with the usual unexpected(?) outcome.

Very good read and quite funny even with the subliminal seriousness.
